Job Description

We are looking for a creative, responsible, and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our team. You will support the team in creating engaging social media content, managing daily postings, assisting with video production, and keeping up with the latest digital trends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and developing content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Brainstorm creative content ideas, campaign concepts, video topics, and social media trends with the team.
• Write captions, short-form scripts, content descriptions, and other social media copy in English and Mandarin.
• Assist with creating simple visual content using Canva or similar design tools.
• Edit short-form videos and social media content using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Support the team during photo shoots, video shoots, events, and campaign productions.
• Schedule and publish approved content across different social media platforms.
• Monitor social media comments, messages, trends, and audience engagement.
• Conduct basic research on trending topics, competitors, creators, and digital content formats.
• Assist in preparing campaign materials, content calendars, reports, and presentation decks.
• Coordinate with internal team members, creators, talents, and other relevant parties when required.
• Ensure all content is accurate, consistent, and published according to the agreed timeline.
• Perform other social media, content creation, and production-related tasks assigned by the team.

Job Requirements

Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.

Communication Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.

Language Proficiency
Must be able to communicate confidently in both English and Mandarin.

Social Media Knowledge
Basic understanding of major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn.

Creativity
Able to brainstorm fresh ideas and develop engaging content for different audiences and platforms.

Basic Design Skills
Familiar with graphic design tools such as Canva or similar platforms.

Basic Video Editing Skills
Basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or other video-editing software.

Time Management
Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Teamwork
Willing to collaborate with team members, accept feedback, and contribute positively to group projects.

Adaptability
Able to learn new tools and techniques quickly and adapt to changes in social media trends and platform features.

Attention to Detail
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency across all content and postings.
