About The Job

The Junior Event Manager role is an essential managing role which entails managing different stakeholders and coordinating departments, events, suppliers and participants to deliver quality experience! 

These are some of the things you will have a hand in but not limited to:
  • Client Consultation and Event Design 
  • Event Preparation and Coordination 
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Event Facilitation and Delivery
  • Post Event Reporting and Operations
  • Organisational Operations and Discussions
  • Team Management



Tasks would be varied but not limited to:

  • Planning, management, research, meetings, responding to customer's enquiries, etc. 
  • Research and understanding of Marketing strategy (inclusive of Events) and an ability to act as a spokesperson for these, ensuring events are aligned
  • Proactively ensuring all event engagements are executed to a high quality standard and within the agreed budgets
  • Actively implementing metrics to assist in showcasing event impact for business development, assisting to guide future strategy
  • Assisting with the management of individual event budgets in line with the overall events budget, seeking opportunities to minimise expenditure without compromising event quality
  • Liaising and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to plan and run events
  • Analysing data to inform future event activities, ensuring feedback is presented to Manager 
  • Assisting with Marketing Dashboard reporting 
  • Coordinating various Marketing Campaign or Sponsorship activation events, where required
  • Ensuring events align with other marketing engagements

Job Requirements

  1. 1-3 years experience in Event Management (online event experience is an added benefit)
  2. Interested in event management and enjoy managing different people and tasks to ensure that the event is successful and a memorable one
