Job Description

  • Handle monthly closing of accounts for local and overseas subsidiaries within the required timeline.
  • Assist in the preparation of group consolidation reporting and ensure accuracy of financial reports.
  • Support accounting and finance matters for overseas subsidiaries, including China and Indonesia.
  • Assist in the preparation of interim announcements, executive summaries, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) reporting, and board papers.
  • Support tax matters, including tax schedules, tax computation review, and liaison with tax agents or relevant authorities.
  • Prepare audit documents and assist in the preparation of draft financial statements.
  • Minimize audit adjustments by ensuring proper accounting records and supporting documents.
  • Prepare financial analysis and management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax agents, and company secretary.
  • Participate in process improvement projects and perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by superior.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in accounting, group reporting, audit, taxation, or finance functions.
  • Good knowledge of MFRS, Income Tax Act, and accounting standards.
  • Experience in monthly closing, financial reporting, audit support, and management reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders.
