Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our Group Finance team, with a primary focus on group reporting, consolidation and financial reporting for local and overseas subsidiaries. The role will work closely with subsidiary finance teams and internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate group reporting, while also supporting management reporting, audit, tax and process improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

1. Group Reporting & Consolidation

  • Prepare and consolidate monthly group financial results for local and overseas subsidiaries within the required timeline. 
  • Perform intercompany reconciliation and elimination of intra-group balances and transactions. 
  • Review subsidiary financial information, supporting schedules and reporting packs to ensure completeness and accuracy. 
  • Support accounting and finance matters for overseas subsidiaries, including China and Indonesia. 
  • Ensure group reporting is prepared in accordance with applicable MFRS and accounting requirements. 

2. Management & Corporate Reporting

  • Prepare financial analysis, management reports and executive summaries for internal stakeholders. 
  • Assist in preparing interim announcements, ERM reporting and board papers. 
  • Provide accurate financial information and analysis to support management decision-making. 

3. Audit & Tax Support

  • Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents and assist in the preparation of draft financial statements. 
  • Support tax matters including tax schedules, tax computation review and liaison with tax agents or relevant authorities. 
  • Ensure proper accounting records and supporting documentation to minimize audit adjustments. 

4. Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with subsidiary finance teams to obtain trial balances, schedules and supporting information. 
  • Work closely with auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other internal/external stakeholders. 
  • Follow up on reporting issues and variances to ensure timely resolution. 

5. Process Improvement & Systems

  • Identify and support improvements to group reporting, consolidation templates and finance processes. 
  • Support ERP reporting, data extraction and reconciliation to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency. 
  • Perform other finance-related tasks and projects as assigned. 

 

Requirements

  •  Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in group reporting, financial reporting, consolidation, group accounting or audit. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA is a plus.
  •  Hands-on experience in group consolidation, intercompany reconciliation and month-end closing is preferred. 
  •  Experience supporting overseas subsidiaries or multi-entity reporting will be an added advantage. 
  • Good knowledge of MFRS and financial reporting requirements.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems. SAP, Oracle or other ERP experience will be an advantage.
