Job Description
We are looking for a talented Web Developer with excellent communication skills to contribute to our web design activities. The successful candidate must be adaptable, possess a strong can-do attitude, and be capable of working on a number of assignments in parallel.
Responsibilities include:
* Conceptualizing creative ideas with marketing team
* Testing and improving the design of the company websites
* Keeping up to date with websites technology and development
* Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes
* Incorporating new functionalities and features into the website to make it more user-friendly, effective and appealing
* Digital retouching and image editing
* Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to maintain the appearance of the website
Job Requirements
Requirements:
* Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
* Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, GIMP, Inkscape or equivalent visual design tools
* Specializing in using PHP and WordPress is a must.
* Good understanding of SEO
* Good understanding of Swiss Style and Material Design
* Creative, obsessed with good design practices and an eye for detail
* Strong communications skill
* Design experience with multiple platforms and cross-browsers - desktop, tablet and mobile devices is a plus
* Background in user experience design and knowledge of usability is a plus
