About the Role 

Love coffee and enjoy creating a great experience for people? 

We’re bringing an established Italian F&B brand to Malaysia and looking for passionate Baristas to join our pioneer team. Beyond classic espresso and cappuccino, you’ll get to work with an exciting beverage menu that brings together Italian coffee, chocolate, gelato and signature creations. 

With the opportunity for overseas training, you’ll deepen your coffee and beverage skills, learn international brand standards and grow your expertise as we build the brand in Malaysia. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Prepare and serve espresso-based coffee, hot and cold beverages, chocolate drinks and signature creations according to brand standards. 
• Learn and master signature beverages combining coffee, chocolate, gelato and other ingredients. 
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders and other beverage equipment with proper care. 
• Keep the coffee station well-prepared, clean and organised throughout daily operations. 
• Monitor ingredients and stock levels while maintaining proper storage and minimising wastage. 
• Build strong menu and product knowledge to confidently recommend and explain beverages to customers. 
• Deliver warm and engaging service while working closely with the wider store team. 
• Share your knowledge and guide other team members on beverage preparation and quality standards as you develop in the role. 

What We’re Looking For 

• Experience as a Barista or in a café environment is preferred. 
• Good knowledge of espresso preparation, coffee extraction and milk steaming is an advantage. 
• Latte art skills are a plus, but not essential. 
• Genuinely passionate about coffee, beverages and creating a great customer experience. 
• Friendly, energetic and confident engaging with customers. 
• Hands-on, detail-oriented and takes pride in quality and consistency. 
• Eager to learn new techniques and develop beyond traditional coffee preparation. 
• A positive team player who enjoys learning and growing with others. 
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
