As a Tea Barista, you'll be responsible for welcoming customers, taking orders, preparing our signature hand-mashed lemon tea and other beverages according to NingJi's quality standards, delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining a clean and organized outlet, ensuring ingredient freshness and inventory accuracy, and working closely with your teammates to achieve daily operational and sales goals.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

• You greet customers, take orders accurately, and handle cash and POS transactions with a friendly, efficient manner.
• You help the team meet daily sales targets and maintain NINGJI MALAYSIA's brand standards at the counter.

Beverage Preparation & Quality

• You prepare our signature hand-mashed lemon tea and other drinks precisely according to SOPs to ensure consistent taste and presentation.
• You check ingredient freshness and follow food safety and hygiene procedures for workstations and equipment.

Operations & Stock

• You monitor stock levels for ingredients, supplies, and packaging, and report replenishment needs to your supervisor promptly.
• You assist with opening and closing duties to keep the outlet organised, clean, and ready for service.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• No experience needed; training is provided and prior experience in beverage preparation or drink mixing is an advantage.
• Available for Full-Time or Permanent Part-Time roles and willing to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Basic cash handling and POS operation skills with the ability to take orders accurately under pressure.
• Knowledge of beverage SOPs, proper ingredient storage, and standard food safety and hygiene practices.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Friendly and professional service style with clear communication and a cooperative team attitude.
• Reliable, attentive to detail, and able to maintain a clean, organised workspace during busy service periods.
