Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Social Media Executive to join our growing team. This role is client-focused, where you’ll be responsible for ideating, creating, and managing content that drives engagement and results. You will handle end-to-end content production, from brainstorming ideas to shooting and editing videos, tracking performance, and optimizing content for better outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Execution:

  • Be on camera to explain client product USPs—must be comfortable speaking in videos.
  • Plan, film, and edit TikTok videos with strong visual appeal.
  • Look for and book external talents when needed for shoots.
  • Ensure video content aligns with brand requirements and current TikTok trends.

Production & Logistics:

  • Coordinate and book shooting locations as needed.
  • Travel to on-site shooting locations—having your own transportation is a must.
  • Handle basic shooting equipment setup, moving props, and ensuring a smooth production process (requires physical stamina).

Strategy & Optimization:

  • Research and propose creative TikTok content ideas.
  • Stay updated with TikTok trends and audience behavior to create timely and relevant content that resonates with the target audience.
  • Monitor performance metrics and suggest content optimizations.
  • Engage with audiences through comments, duets, and stitch content.

Content Management & Performance Tracking

  • Ensure consistent posting schedules across platforms based on the content calendar.
  • Keep track of key performance metrics (engagement, reach, views) and make data-driven recommendations to improve content strategy.
  • Prepare a monthly performance report with detailed insights and next steps for improvement.

Running Ads & Boosting Content

  • Set up and manage ads for posted content, ensuring budget and targeting align with client goals.
  • Monitor ad performance, adjust as necessary, and report on results.

Client Communication & Feedback

  • Regularly update clients on content progress and performance.
  • Incorporate feedback to continuously improve content quality and engagement.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in content creation, especially video production and editing.
  • Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends.
  • Not camera-shy—must be comfortable speaking on video.
  • Physically fit—able to carry shooting equipment and move things around.
  • Own transportation—able to travel to shooting locations when required.
  • Good aesthetic sense—able to shoot visually appealing content.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Points If You Have:

⭐ Experience in running ads on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

⭐ A TikTok or social media portfolio showcasing your content.

⭐ Knowledge of social media analytics & reporting.

Qualifications:

  • High knowledge level in utility of social media applications and able to stay abreast with social media trends.
  • Good copywriting skill in English/Malay/Chinese.
  • Knowledge and experience in branding, marketing, digital marketing, other marketing tools, web designing, Photoshop, Illustrator, photography, videography, customer service and customer relationship management would be an added advantage.
  • Creative thinking and can bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Open-minded, humble and willing to accept constructive feedback.
  • Dedicated, self-started and self-motivating attitude.
  • Good organizational, analytical and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and also as team player where frequent collaboration across functional teams is necessary.
  • Pleasant personality and good interpersonal skills.
  • BS/BA Degree in relevant area of study. ​​Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
