Do you love challenges?

The PMO Analyst supports the PMO Manager in driving project governance, performance tracking, financial management, and reporting across all consulting and SAP implementation projects. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in project delivery or PMO operations, and the ability to translate complex project data into clear insights for senior management.
This position plays a key role in ensuring that the PMO achieves its financial KPIs, reporting standards, and operational excellence under the New Way of Work (WoW) initiative.

Key Responsibilities

A. Project Governance & Portfolio Management

  • Support the implementation and adherence to PMO methodology aligned with GIIC & NDBS standards and SAP Activate (Discovery → Prepare → Explore → Realise → Deploy → Run).
  • Monitor project progress, RAG status, milestones, risks, issues, and delays; ensure timely escalation and governance compliance.
  • Coordinate and maintain project documentation, templates, and PMO processes.

B. Financial Monitoring & Performance Management

  • Track project financials, including budget vs actual, revenue recognition, forecast accuracy, and margin monitoring.
  • Work closely with the Head of PMO and Project Managers to drive financial discipline across all projects.
  • Support monthly PMO financial reviews, invoicing readiness, and performance dashboards.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial inputs for PMR, billability report, and project health checks.

C. Reporting, Analytics & Automation

  • Prepare executive-level reporting for senior management, including RAG dashboard, portfolio summary, utilisation report, pipeline visibility, and resourcing analysis.
  • Develop and automate dashboards (Power BI is a strong advantage).
  • Consolidate data from SAP systems, PMO SharePoint/Teams, and internal reporting tools to ensure single source of truth.
  • Drive 100% data-driven PMO operations and contribute to WoW automation initiatives.

D. Project Support & Advisory

  • Provide advisory support to Project Managers in planning, scheduling, risk management, and governance.
  • Perform quality checks on project plans, risk logs, timesheets, and PMO deliverables.
  • Assist in audits (internal/external) and ensure project compliance with required standards.

E. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Work closely with Head of Consulting, Practice Managers, Resource Coordinator, and Project Managers.
  • Prepare clear, concise presentations, reports, and insights for management decisions.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives related to PMO improvement, methodology, and resource planning.

Education & Certification (Preferred)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum) is an added advantage.

Experience

  • 2–5 years working experience in Project Management, PMO, or Consulting environment.
  • Experience with SAP projects, SAP Activate, or SAP-related consulting is a strong advantage.
  • Proven experience in financial tracking, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Exposure to PMO tools, reporting automation, and data-driven decision-making.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong understanding of project management concepts, governance, and lifecycle.
  • Solid analytical capabilities with strong proficiency in Excel and reporting tools (Power BI preferred).
  • Familiar with SAP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP PS) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of PMO methodologies, financial metrics, and resource planning processes.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially for senior management reporting.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to propose actionable insights.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong accountability and ownership of tasks.

  • Accuracy and timeliness of RAG & portfolio reporting.
  • Project governance compliance rate.
  • Financial reporting accuracy (forecast vs actual).
  • Dashboard automation and operational improvements delivered.
  • Stakeholder satisfaction (Head of PMO, Project Managers, Consulting Head).
