Job Description

  • Perform Corrective Maintenance Work - day to day on-site technical support and fault management for operator - ZTE/Huawei network products and services, including but not limited to Node-B, IPRAN, Rectifier, Transmission NE, troubleshooting for network traffic availability, ability to interpret test result, advise customers on site issue and etc.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance Work - Scheduled preventive maintenance audit for passive network elements (compound maintenance, battery, aircon, fire extinguishers etc.)
  • Interface with customers to expedite service recovery, as well as to communicate resolution to customers.
  • As 1st level support to NOC for all technical resolution on corrective/preventive maintenance.
  • Responsible for problem/incident management, tracking of all issues, escalation, and reporting.

    • Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Telecommunication Engineering/Information Technology or its equivalent (Engineer Position)
  • Candidate with years of telecommunication experience but with no academic qualification will also be considered to apply.
  • Fresh graduates with good academic result are also encourage to apply
  • Have a strong passion in IP, transmission/access/core networking, as well as have the drive and energy to pursue a career in this field
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Good follow up skills and positive working attitude
  • Ability to prioritize task with effective time management
  • Someone is customer and service oriented
  • A self-starter who is able to work independently, as well as in a team
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • CIDB & WAH (MAX/IRATEC) is a must.
  • TMNIOSH certificate is an added advantage
  • Able to work in 24 by 7 shift environment.
