Job Description

  • Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability.
  • Maintain and repair technological equipment (e.g., router) or peripheral devices.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot end-user desktop/ laptop issues, including software and hardware.
  • Monitor network performance to ensure systems are working efficiently.
  • Conduct daily backup operations.
  • Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues.
  • Maintain internal documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain network security, firewall, and VPNs.
  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues encountered by users.
  • Train users in the proper use of hardware and software.
  • Liaise with IT personnel for problem resolution.

Job Requirements

  • Possess with Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • At least 2-3 years’ experiences as IT Administrator System, System Administrator, or related position
  • Knowledge of system security and data backup / recovery
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Customer-oriented attitude
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent are an advantage
