Optimal Advisory is a KL-based Business Advisory & Outsourced CFO firm. We work directly with founders and management teams to improve profitability, cash flow, reporting, KPIs, and decision-making.

We’re hiring Junior/Senior Business Advisory Associate to support (and eventually lead) client engagements, from financial analysis and management reporting to finance transformation projects. If you want to go beyond routine accounting and become a true partner of a business, this role is for you.

Vacancy: Finance Advisory Associate (Junior Role)

Role Overview 

• You will work closely with Senior CFO Advisors, supporting client engagements and gaining exposure to real-world business and financial advisory work beyond routine accounting.

Key Responsibilities 

• Assist Senior Advisors in CFO Advisory and business advisory engagements 
• Prepare financial analysis, management reports, and presentations 
• Support budgeting, cash flow analysis, and performance tracking 
• Coordinate project execution and client follow-ups

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related professional qualification 
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, audit, taxation, or advisory roles 
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
• Willingness to learn and grow into a CFO role 
• Must possess own transport and able to travel to client locations when required

Vacancy: Senior CFO Advisor (Senior Role)

Role Overview 

• You will independently manage CFO Advisory engagements and work directly with business owners and senior management to improve financial performance and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage CFO Advisory and financial transformation projects 
• Advise clients on cash flow management, budgeting, and financial controls 
• Design and implement finance processes, reporting frameworks, and KPIs 
• Guide client finance teams and support management-level decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related qualification 
• 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, or advisory roles 
• Ability to handle client engagements independently 
• Strong commercial mindset and clear communication with non-finance stakeholders 
• Must possess own transport and able to travel to client locations when required
