Want a career in tech without writing a single line of code?
You don't need to code to build software. You need someone to keep the chaos organised, the team aligned, and the deadlines met. That's project management — and we're hiring an intern to learn it properly.
You'll join Orangesoft's project team and help run real client projects: web platforms, e-commerce builds. From kick-off to delivery, you'll see how software actually gets shipped — the meetings, the trade-offs, the late pivots, all of it.
Strong performers are offered full-time roles at the end of the internship. Our current Project Managers all started somewhere — and we'd rather it be here.
What you'll work on
- Coordinate timelines, tasks, and team members across live client projects
- Take meeting notes, run follow-ups, and keep stakeholders in the loop
- Write clear documentation — project briefs, scope summaries, status reports
- Track progress against milestones and flag risks early
- Sit in on client calls, design reviews, and sprint planning
- Help review work before it ships to make sure nothing slips through
What you'll walk away with
- Real experience running tech projects end-to-end
- A working understanding of how software teams operate (developers, designers, QA)
- Confidence in client communication and stakeholder management
- Direct mentorship from experienced Project Managers
- A clear career path: PM Intern → Junior PM → Project Manager
Working arrangement
- Monday: Work from home
- Tuesday–Friday: On-site at our office
- Tools: Google Chat, Google Docs, Sheets, Calendar — the stack you already know. Focus on learning the role, not new software.
You'd be a good fit if you have
- Strong communication skills — written and spoken
- Natural organisation: you keep lists, hit deadlines, follow through
- Calm under pressure — multiple things moving at once doesn't faze you
- Curiosity about how digital products get built (no coding needed)
- The instinct to ask the right questions and listen carefully
- At least 4 months to commit
Bonus points if you have
- Led a society, club, or student project — anywhere you organised people and outcomes
- Studied business, management, IT, or a related field (other backgrounds welcome)
- Comfort with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
How to stand out in your application
1. Share your CV
2. Tell us about a time you organised something messy — an event, a group project, a society activity. What was the chaos, and how did you sort it?
3. One sentence on why project management interests you
You don't need to tick every box. If you're organised, curious, and a strong communicator, apply.
