As an internship for IT Network Engineer, you will help build and scale network setups, configure routers and switches, and support live operations while learning routing and troubleshooting workflows.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Field & Installation Support

• Assist with installation and basic configuration of DOCSIS equipment, routers, and switches under supervision.
• Support on-site setup and run simple tests to verify connectivity and signal quality.

Network Operations & Troubleshooting

• Monitor network health and follow standard troubleshooting steps to identify faults.
• Work with senior engineers to apply routing fixes and verify changes in lab and production environments.

Documentation & Learning

• Record installation notes, test results, and change logs clearly for each task.
• Complete assigned training, accept feedback, and apply learnings to improve technical skills.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, or currently enrolled in such a program.
• 0 years of professional experience; this role is an internship for early-career candidates.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Installation, Troubleshooting (Problem Solving), Network Routing.
• Basic understanding of routing, switching, and DOCSIS concepts, plus familiarity with network testing tools.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Curious and eager to learn through hands-on work and feedback.
• Clear communicator, punctual, and able to work cooperatively with engineers and clients.
