Job Description

1. Backend Programming 

- Develop, manage, and refine financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.

- Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).

- Ensure accurate and complete general ledger entries and reconciliations.

- Manage journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and other accounting activities to maintain financial integrity.

- Assist in the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to track company performance and ensure alignment with budget goals.

2. Reporting & Compliance

- Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.

- Coordinate audits, manage external relationships, and implement recommendations for financial process improvements.

3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

- Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

- Manage bank relationships and oversee cash management activities, including investments, borrowing, and other treasury functions.

- Identify potential risks to liquidity and develop strategies to mitigate financial risks.

4. Risk Management & Strategy

- Evaluate financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.

- Work closely with leadership to identify opportunities for financial growth and investment.

- Provide recommendations to improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs.

5. Stakeholder Communication

- Communicate financial performance, trends, and forecasts clearly to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial goals are met, providing support in decision-making.

Job Requirements

• An open-minded mindset towards new technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
• Proven professional experience finance, accounting, or related roles, with a strong understanding of financial management principles.
• Strong understanding of financial management principles, including accounting & cash flow management
• Solid understanding of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and internal controls.
• Positive attitude & ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
