Job Description

Developing new partnerships

  • Widen the network by identifying and acquiring new partners.
  • Maintaining knowledge of all products and service offerings of the company

Managing relationships with key contacts of newly acquired business partners

  •  Explore and establish business opportunities with new potential partners. 
  •  Manage new partners acquired as a key focal point and maintain and preserve a close relationship with partners. 
  •  Organize a smooth handover process with Business Units on post-launch of key projects with partners.

Design, review, and implement actions to deliver and evaluate projects with new partners.

  • Collaborate and propose plans of delivery with new partners on identified projects.
  •  Evaluate projects on an agreed timeframe to ensure quality delivery of projects duration, ensuring reporting of impact and results to internal stakeholders and partners are followed through.
  •  Assessing and developing a business case to seek Management approval for execution purposes, assisting where applicable.

Regular monitoring of projects 

  •  Communicate regular project and business updates to internal and external stakeholders on project progress
  •  Evaluate projects on an agreed timeframe to ensure quality delivery of projects duration, ensuring reporting of impact and results to internal stakeholders and partners are followed through, Ad-hoc local and regional initiatives 


Job Requirements

  

  1. Degree in any discipline.
  2. Preference is given to those with business-related fields of study. 
  3. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar business development position with a proven track record. 
  4. Experience marketer or distributor with a wide network and track record; experience in product marketing, campaign management, and business partnerships. Project management from planning through implementation will be an added advantage. 
  5. Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, both verbally and in writing.
  6. Strong execution ability with creativity to pull resources and remove roadblocks. 
  7. Strong business acumen and resourcefulness.
  8. Ability to analyze and present information clearly.
