Job Description

General Duties
The primary responsibility of the Sales Executive will be to actively grow company sales by managing assigned accounts, developing new business opportunities, and closing sales with pet shops, veterinary clinics, groomers, and other relevant partners.

Specific duties required may include but not limited to:

  • Actively sourcing, engaging, and meeting potential customers to promote and sell the company’s products.
  • Managing and growing relationships with existing customers to drive repeat orders and long-term partnerships.
  • Conducting in-person and virtual sales meetings, product presentations, and follow-ups to close sales.
  • Preparing quotations, negotiating terms, and securing confirmed orders.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and timely delivery.
  • Tracking sales activities, customer interactions, and performance updates in the company’s designated software system.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support sales strategies.
  • Assisting in planning and executing sales promotions, roadshows, or trade activities when required.
  • Achieving individual and team sales targets as set by management.
  • Any other duties assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in pet products, FMCG, or related industries.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers such as pet shops, veterinary clinics, and groomers.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and meet clients in person.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple accounts.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and/or CRM systems.
  • Possess a valid driving license and own transportation (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond effectively to customer needs.
  • Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and willingness to learn.
