About the Role

Join Padini Holdings Berhad as a Design Intern and gain valuable hands on experience in one of our creative or technical departments in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or Quality Control. Each internship offers a unique learning experience within Malaysia’s leading fashion retail group, allowing you to develop practical skills and industry knowledge alongside our professional teams.

What You'll Be Doing

1.Graphic Design Internship

• Assist in graphic layout, design, colour selection, and effects based on brand themes and requirements;
• Support in creating designs for prints, embroideries, and other artwork for merchandise;
• Assist in preparing seasonal mood boards and display guidelines;
• Undertake other design related tasks as assigned by Management.

2. Fashion Design Internship

• Assist in sample measurement, fitting sessions, and preparing fitting comments;
• Arrange samples for Visual Merchandising (VM) photo shoots;
• Conduct fabric and barcode checks;
• Support the issuance of order confirmations and finalization of design capsules.

3. Quality Control Internship

• Assist in physical inspection of finished products and record non conformance issues;
• Support data entry and defect tracking;
• Assist in conducting shrinkage and colour fastness tests;
• Support garment testing and documentation processes.

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Candidate must be pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Textile, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator;
• Able to multitask, detail oriented, and willing to learn in a fast paced environment;
• Minimum internship duration is 10 weeks, with a valid internship placement letter issued by the university or college.
