• Develop innovative and fashionable concepts for attire catering to Muslimah women.
• Assemble cohesive collections of chic and modest apparel, comprising abayas, hijabs, dresses, blouses, shirts, trousers, skirts, and more.
• Research contemporary fashion trends, historical influences, cultural elements, and new design techniques to inspire your textile creations.
• Design elaborate patterns, motifs, and repeats that are compatible with various fabric types and uses.
• Work alongside manufacturers and sample makers to create prototype samples of your designs, ensuring precise scaling, accurate color reproduction, and high fabric quality.
• Effectively engage with clients, design teams, and product developers to grasp project requirements, address feedback, and refine designs to meet particular needs and timelines.
• Perform thorough quality inspections on finished textile products to guarantee accurate design reproduction, consistent colors, and fabric performance that meets industry standards.
• Keep comprehensive records of design ideas, development processes, and project schedules.
• Prepare polished presentations and design portfolios to exhibit your work to clients, stakeholders, and industry experts.
• Remain informed about fashion trends and seek out premium fabrics and materials.
• Stay current with social media trends on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and more.
• Collaborate with teams for sample evaluations, fittings, and production processes.
• Ensure product excellence and align designs with customer tastes.
• Integrate cultural elements into designs and reflect the brand's vision.
• Assume additional duties as assigned by management.
• Capable of leading and managing a small team of 3-5 fashion designers.
• Collaborate weekly to generate and brainstorm new designs or products for social media sales with the team.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• Able to speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia, prefer mandarin speaker.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
• Previous experience in Muslimah or modest fashion is preferred.
• Proficiency in design software and sketching.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and trend awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work well in a team.
