About the Role

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer Intern who is passionate about creating intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences. As part of the IT team, you will contribute to designing and improving the Healix digital healthcare platform, including mobile applications, web interfaces, and internal dashboards.

This internship is ideal for students who want real-world experience designing health-tech products used by clinics, patients, and healthcare providers.

Job Summary

The UI/UX Designer Intern will assist the product and development teams in designing engaging and functional user interfaces. The intern will work on user research, wireframes, prototypes, and usability improvements to ensure a seamless experience across Healix platforms.

Functional Responsibilities & Duties

UI Design

• Design modern and intuitive user interfaces for Healix mobile and web platforms
• Create UI components such as buttons, forms, dashboards, and healthcare workflows
• Ensure consistency with the Healix design system and branding

UX Research & Design

• Assist in user journey mapping and experience planning
• Conduct user flow analysis for patients, clinics, and healthcare providers
• Identify friction points and suggest usability improvements

Wireframing & Prototyping

• Develop low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity mockups
• Create interactive prototypes using design tools
• Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation

Product Collaboration

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams
• Participate in product brainstorming and design discussions
• Support the UI/UX team in preparing design assets and documentation

Role Responsibilities

• Assist in designing mobile app screens and web dashboards
• Improve usability and accessibility of the Healix platform
• Maintain organized design files and version control
• Prepare design presentations and mockups for internal review
• Support the team in design testing and feedback analysis

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Advantage)

• Experience designing mobile app interfaces
• Knowledge of design systems and component libraries
• Understanding of HTML/CSS basics
• Interest in health-tech or digital health innovation

Job Requirements

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who:

• Are pursuing Diploma / Degree in UI/UX Design, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field
• Have basic knowledge of UI/UX principles and user-centered design
• Are familiar with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
• Have basic understanding of mobile and web design layouts
• Possess good creativity, communication, and attention to detail
• Are eager to learn and work in a startup / tech environment
