Job Description
About the Role
Pathgreen Energy Sdn Bhd is looking for a Wireman to support our Solar PV Project Installation and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) activities.
The role involves hands-on electrical work including Solar PV installation, wiring, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair at project and customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical wiring, installation, maintenance, testing, and repair works.
- Assist with Solar PV installation and commissioning.
- Perform cable termination, electrical connections, and grounding works.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out rectification works.
- Work on single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and Single-Line Diagrams (SLD).
- Use electrical testing equipment for inspection and troubleshooting.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Attend project and customer sites as required.
- Prepare basic service reports, checklists, and maintenance records.
- Ensure all work follows electrical safety and HSE requirements.
- Maintain proper care of tools and equipment.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
Job Requirements
- Possess a valid PW2, PW4, SKM, Diploma in Electrical certification (mandatory).
- Experience in electrical wiring, installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with the required electrical certification are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, electrical components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge or experience in Solar PV systems is an added advantage, but training will be provided.
- Willing to travel and be stationed at project sites as required.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
- Possess a positive attitude, good teamwork, and willingness to learn.
- Own a motorcycle or car with a valid driving licence.
