Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail - oriented Junior Purchasing Executive to support the purchasing functions of our F&B operations. The ideal candidate will assist in sourcing, purchasing, inventory coordination, supplier communication and maintaining purchasing records to ensure smooth daily operations. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in purchasing are encouraged to apply. 

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing

• Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations for food ingredients, packaging materials and operational supplies. 
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
• Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations and delivery schedules. 
• Coordinate with operation team to ensure timely replenishment of stock. 

Supplier Coordination

• Assist in comparing supplier quotations, pricing and delivery terms. 
• Follow up on supplier issues such as delivery delays, shortages or quality concerns.
• Support supplier documentation processes for audit and Halal application purchases. 

Inventory & Data Management

• Update and maintain purchasing records and documentation. 
• Assist in inventory reconciliation and stock count activities. 
• Ensure accurate data entry into company system. 

Compliance & Administration

• Ensure all purchasing documentation is complete and properly filed. 
• Assist in audit preparations and document retrieval when required. 
• Perform other purchasing and administrative duties as assigned by Line Manager. 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. 
• At least 1 year of working experience in purchasing, business administration or a related field is an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
