Overseeing financial functions, financial reporting, managing & monitoring budgets, analyzing financial data, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• To ensure the Group’s accounting policies and practices are in compliance with the accounting standard of MASB & MFRS and listing requirements.
• To ensure proper & timely preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports for Management review.
• To conduct consolidation of the Group accounts for Monthly Management reporting and submission.
• To track and monitor the various business units and operational KPIs in ensuring meeting the budgeted Business Plan by reviewing and highlighting shortfall to the business units HODs for improvement action plan.
• To plan and review the annual budgeting and planning exercise and table to the Management.
• To review and monitor the monthly cash flow projection by project and by Company.
• To ensure accountability and security of the business processes SOP, SAP system processes and control of finance.
• To liaise with the external auditors and oversee the auditing procedures in mitigating risk and exposure by conducting periodic processes due diligence.
• To prepare tax planning, tax incentives and liaison with the tax authorities on all business taxes.
• To liaise with MITI, MIDA and relevant authorities on the government grant program for new business project.
• To provide accurate analysis of YTD budgets, MTD forecasts, YOY financial performance and others financial analysis on periodic timely basis.
• To ensure strong operational financial services system is in place for the company.
• To oversee all aspects of the day-to-day Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
• To ensure effective internal controls are in place for compliance with KLSE listing requirements and others relevant regulatory reporting.
• Possess a Degree in Finance or Accounting or Professional qualification of ACCA, CIMA, MICPA, CPA, CA and/or equivalent and member of MIA.
• Minimum 10 years related working experiences being in Senior finance role in the manufacturing industry of Public Listed Company.
• Astute leadership with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work and cope with fast paced and demanding working environment with ability to prioritize and multitasking.
• Adept emotional intelligent, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent strategic thinking.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, especially on MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Excellent in writing and speaking of both English, Bahasa Malaysia as well as Mandarin in order to communicate with China business partner.
• Must be highly accurate, detail-oriented, meticulous, able to complete work rapidly and result oriented.
• Self-motivated, ability to take initiative and working as part with team spirit.
