Internship Role Overview

This role focuses on continuous website improvement, SEO optimisation, and monitoring online brand presence. The goal is to increase bookings from the website while maintaining a positive brand image across digital channels.

This is a hands-on digital and analytical role, suitable for interns with WordPress experience, interest in SEO, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuously review, update, and improve the company website using WordPress 
• Assist in implementing on-page SEO (keywords, meta titles, meta descriptions, internal linking)
• Conduct keyword research related to short-stay rentals, homestays, and travel searches
• Optimise website content for better search visibility and conversion
• Monitor website performance (traffic, search rankings, enquiries, bookings)
• Identify and suggest improvements to booking flow and call-to-action (CTA)
• Help monitor and QC reviews, comments, and brand mentions across the website and social media, providing summary insights or flags to management
• Prepare basic SEO, website performance, and review analysis reports

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, IT, Multimedia, Communications, or related fields
• Must have hands-on experience using WordPress (content updates, page editing, basic plugin usage) 
• Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals (on-page SEO, keywords, search intent)
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or SEO tools is a plus
• Proactive, willing to learn, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in hospitality, digital marketing, and brand management
