Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning & Electrical Technician to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air-conditioning systems and electrical equipment. The successful candidate will ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Air Conditioning (ACMV) Works

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems. 
• Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting on split units, VRF/VRV systems, package units, and other HVAC equipment. 
• Conduct preventive maintenance and servicing of air-conditioning systems. 
• Replace defective components and perform system testing after repairs. 
• Monitor system performance and recommend corrective actions when necessary. 

Electrical Works

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and control systems. 
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out repairs safely and effectively. 
• Perform testing and commissioning of electrical installations. 
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations. 
• Assist with electrical upgrades and project installations. 

Site Operations & Safety

• Carry out site inspections and service assignments as scheduled. 
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). 
• Ensure work areas are kept clean and organized. 
• Report safety hazards, equipment defects, and technical issues promptly. 
• Comply with company policies and workplace safety requirements. 

Documentation & Reporting

• Complete service reports and maintenance records accurately. 
• Record equipment conditions, repairs performed, and materials used. 
• Provide feedback and recommendations to supervisors regarding equipment performance. 
• Assist in preparing maintenance schedules and service documentation.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or Technical/Vocational qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Air Conditioning, or a related field. 
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in air-conditioning and electrical maintenance. 
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and troubleshooting techniques. 
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and wiring diagrams. 
• Good problem-solving and technical skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Willing to travel to customer and project sites when required. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience servicing commercial and industrial air-conditioning systems. 
• Knowledge of VRF/VRV, chilled water, and centralized air-conditioning systems. 
• Possession of relevant technical certifications or competency licenses. 
• Experience in maintenance contracts and service operations.
