About Us

The Malaysian Association of Risk and Insurance Management (MARIM) is a non-profit trade association representing corporations that practice risk and insurance management in Malaysia. Our main objective is to promote, foster, and develop the concepts and practices of risk and insurance management.

MARIM organizes a wide range of seminars, annual conference, webinars, training programs and sport events in the field of risk management and insurance. We also provide access to a strong network of risk and insurance managers and associations, both locally and internationally.

  • Job Types: Internship, Fresh graduate, Student job
  • Contract length: 4/6 months
  • Pay: RM700.00 per month
  • Work Location: PJ, Selangor

Job Description

  • Maintain and update records and databases for memberships and events.
  • Assist with general office tasks such as filing, data entry, email correspondence and answering phone calls.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, brochures, flyers, and other communication materials.
  • Support the planning and execution of seminars, conferences, and events, including coordination and logistics.
  • Assist with marketing and communication initiatives (e.g., social media, LinkedIn).
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving our services and processes.
  • Conduct basic research on industry trends, best practices, and risk and insurance-related topics.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, Marketing or related fields.
  • Good communication in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Basic Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
  • Team player with a positive working attitude.
