Job Description

  • Supervising daily payroll activities to ensure smooth execution by meeting quality and customer service indicators and accomplishing Service Level Agreements.
  • Monitors payroll schedules to ensure payrolls are allocated and processed on time.
  • Review and analyze data integration error and work with Onshore, IT or bank to resolve the issues on a timely basis.
  • Review and report for both Fixed pay and T&M wages transactions.
  • Monitors Group email accounts to ensure responsiveness to customers. 
  • Escalation point of first level support in resolution of payroll critical issues.
  • Ensuring customers are provided feedback in appropriate response timeframes in relation to payroll queries.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Payroll processes and train the team on all the processes transition to Malaysia.
  • Develop and ensure the Standard Operating Procedure is up to date and applied by the team.
  • Ensure compliance to Customer's policy and procedure and their country regulations, including JSOX.

Job Requirements

  • At least 6 years’ experience with minimum 3 years in SSC or BPO environment & people management experience.
  • Degree/ Diploma in Human Resource/ Business Administration or equivalent. 
  • Experience in Virtual Knowledge transfer for payroll services or system implementation.
  • Experience in working on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment – Citrix.
  • Experience in payroll operations for Australia and New Zealand.
  • Exhibits strong payroll management expertise and command of relevant process flow, policies, procedure, and Australia basic Payroll requirements.
  • Proficient use of applicable technology and MS Office. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and collaborative team spirit. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in leading the team for effective payroll delivery.
