Job Description

• Oversee the accounts payable process, including communication with vendors, conducting 3‑way matches, processing invoices, arranging supplier payments, and executing supplier reconciliations.
• Submit self‑billed invoices to LHDN through the online platform.
• Ensure accurate accounting records and organized filing systems are maintained.
• Administer and update the fixed assets module.
• Support month-end closing tasks and engage in inventory counts.
• Compile audit schedules and assist with internal and external audit needs.
• Evaluate monthly financial performance, production discrepancies, and cost changes.
• Participate in daily financial operations.
• Carry out any additional tasks delegated by supervisors or other ad-hoc assignments as necessary.

Job Requirements

• Possession of a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2–3 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Practical experience with accounts payable, 3-way matching, fixed assets, and month-end financial closures.
• Solid comprehension of costing, production variances, and inventory/stock management in a manufacturing context.
• Knowledgeable about LHDN guidelines, SST regulations, and fundamental tax compliance issues.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Effective communication abilities and capable of collaborating with internal departments, suppliers, and auditors.
