Job Description

  • To ensure timely entry of sales orders into the system, adhering to Navision standards (including accurate item card, part number, quantity, revision, date, price, and shipping location).  
  • To input at least the current month and a three-month forecast of demand into the ERP system, taking into account material and production lead times to reduce risk and liability.  
  • To coordinate with customers to provide a shipment demand plan.  
  • To clearly define the cut-off for ECN implementation in sales orders.  
  • To communicate with customers regarding daily operational issues.  
  • Acknowledge receipt of customer purchase orders and confirm back to the customer.  
  • Assess purchase orders for compliance with Navision standards, including selling price, revision, quantity, incoterms, delivery date, payment terms, and currency before entering them into the system.  
  • Consult with planners on the feasibility of requested delivery dates and suggest alternatives if necessary.  
  • Create a shipment demand plan following discussions with the customer.  
  • Receive and request forecasts from customers.  
  • Evaluate forecast accuracy against actual sales data.  
  • Report the findings to the relevant Sales & Marketing and Material department heads.  
  • Review forecast accuracy with the customer.  
  • Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries and complaints.  
  • Collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing to understand and prioritize customer needs.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor or equivalent, and having related experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with clients and team members are crucial
  • Both spoken and non-verbal communication skills are important
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary
  • Excellent time management abilities are vital, especially for meeting deadlines
