Accounting Full Set Management

• Independently handle full set of accounts
• Manage monthly and annual closing processes
• Prepare financial statements
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Handle bank transactions, cash flow management, and reconciliations
• Manage fixed assets
• Supervise inventory accounting and stock management

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Perform monthly financial and performance analysis
• Conduct cost variance and cost analysis
• Prepare management reports for the Japanese Managing Director
• Support budgeting and budget vs. actual (BVA) analysis

Tax & Audit

• Liaise with external auditors during annual audits
• Prepare and submit tax filings (Corporate Tax, SST)
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards

Leadership / Team Management

• Work closely with a 5-member accounting team
• Review team tasks and drive process improvements
• Provide strong leadership and guidance to the team

Job Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of full set accounting experience, including knowledge of costing and cost analysis
• Hands-on experience with monthly and annual closing, preparing financial and management reports, and experience with tax matters, including SST and audit coordination
• Work experience in the manufacturing industry
• Team leadership and people management experience
