About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading packaging manufacturing company as a Senior Sales Engineer. You will leverage your technical expertise and commercial acumen to provide tailored solutions to clients and prospects.

What you'll be doing

1. Proactively prospecting and developing new business opportunities within the packaging manufacturing industry
2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients to understand their evolving needs
3. Providing expert technical advice and support to clients, proposing innovative packaging solutions
4. Preparing and delivering high-quality sales presentations and proposals
5. Collaborating cross-functionally with the production, operations and marketing teams
6. Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth areas
7. Travelling to clients' sites at least once in a quarter such as Taiwan, Singapore, China to deliver exceptional services

Job Requirements

What we're looking for

1. 3-5+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role
2. Great language skills in English and Mandarin as need to deal with Mandarin-speaking clients (Taiwan, China etc.)
3. At least Diploma education qualification
4. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
5. Excellent technical knowledge of packaging materials, equipment and production processes
6. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into tailored solutions
7. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients at all levels
