Job Description

This position is a technical support role that works closely with the sales team to assist customers. It acts as a technical advisor, supporting customers with product selection, usage instructions, and troubleshooting. Approximately 70% of the work will be office-based, while the remaining 30% will involve accompanying the sales team on client visits.

Job Responsibilities:

Before Sales

  • Provide product explanations and selection advice
  • Support with technical calculations
  • Respond to technical inquiries

During Sales

  • Accompany sales staff on customer visits
  • Conduct product demonstrations
  • Deliver technical presentations

After Sales

  • Address customer questions related to product issues or usage
  • Troubleshoot problems
  • Provide product training

Job Details:

  • Manage existing customers and respond to inquiries from new customers regarding company products and services.
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education through training sessions.
  • Deliver after-sales support services and technical backup when required.
  • Assist in the design of custom-made products, and prepare training and support materials for the sales team.
  • Perform selection calculations to recommend suitable products.
  • Prepare monthly reports to inform team leaders about customer needs and situations.
  • Enter customer issues and requirements into the company system.
  • Support marketing activities by participating in trade shows, conferences, and other events.
  • Join sales visits and give technical presentations to demonstrate how products meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with other members of the sales team and technical experts.
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
  • Occasional business trips to Kuala Lumpur and Johor may be required.

Key Deliverables:

  • Increase the number of accounts and overall sales revenue.
  • Submit timely sales reports and update customer information in the GCIS system, along with verbal reporting.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction to support long-term business relationships.
  • Execute sales activities independently with minimal supervision.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
  • 1–2 years of working experience in technical service or technical sales.
  • Background in industries such as mechanical, electrical, or automotive is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
