Account Development Executive (TELESALES)

Location: DBS Asia Hub, Changi (Closest MRT: Expo; shuttle bus services available)
Employment Type: 1-year contract (renewable / convertible)

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Account Development Executive to engage customers with insurance solutions through outbound telemarketing. This role is ideal for those who thrive in sales, enjoy customer interaction, and want to earn through commissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market and sell insurance products via outbound telemarketing.
  • Meet sales objectives and achieve campaign key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Transform warm leads sourced from partners (such as banks and lifestyle brands) into sales.
  • Spot opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Keep precise customer data in the database.
  • Adhere to regulations and maintain quality standards in all activities.

What We Provide:

  • Salary:
  • No insurance certifications: SGD$2,800 + commission
  • With insurance certifications: SGD$3,000 – SGD$3,500 + commission
  • Appealing commission structure: average SGD$500 – SGD$6,000/month, tiered up to 22%.
  • Comprehensive training & certification fully covered (up to 6 attempts, paid study time, and strong trainer guidance).
  • Benefits include: 14 days of annual leave, 1 Family Care leave, medical & insurance coverage, $150 dental/optical benefits.

Work Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month

Job Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • At least a GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent (SPM).
  • Previous experience in telemarketing, sales, banking, financial services, or insurance is preferred.
  • Having insurance certifications (BCP, PGI, HI) is a plus (training and sponsorship available if not certified).
  • Excellent communication abilities with a strong command of the English language.
  • Determined, persuasive, and goal-oriented with a positive demeanor.
  • Able to make outbound calls and manage customer objections effectively.
