Responsibilities

•Responsible for overseeing all financial operations within an organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective financial planning.             
1. Financial Reporting: 
• Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the group. 
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

          
2. Budgeting & Forecasting: 
• Lead the annual budgeting process and financial forecasting for the group. 
• Monitor financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis.

          
3. Internal Controls: 
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies.
• Ensure accurate financial records and prevent fraud or errors.            

4. Financial Analysis: 
• Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management.
• Support decision-making with financial reports, policies and recommendations.

           
5. Group Consolidation:
• Oversee the consolidation of financial data from subsidiaries and business units.
• Ensure smooth and accurate group-wide financial consolidation processes.    

      
6. Team Management:
Lead and mentor the group’s finance team, ensuring effective operations. 

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are preferred. Big 4/Audit firm experience is highly desirable.
• 5-7 years in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. 
• Strong financial reporting, analysis, and consolidation skills with mandatory reporting experience for Bursa Listed Co.
• Strong practical knowledge of MFRS/IFRS. Hands on experience in Project/milestones based accounting & reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis - presentable to senior management.
• Detail-oriented, problem-solver, and strong communication skills. Ability to challenge the status quo and drive the change.
