Job Description

We are seeking dynamic & innovative individuals who have the drive to make a difference & are fueled to succeed!

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and handles intercompany, accruals and business journal entries
  • Performs monthly intercompany account reconciliation and monitor billing transactions
  • Performs identification, reporting and timely capitalization of capital projects, reconciliation and reporting of capital work in progress, and monitor asset disposal and movement
  • Executes recurring and amortization for prepayment transactions
  • Assists monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliation and monitors any aging items
  • Assists supervisor on general accounting tasks such as the chart of account maintenance and provides advice on General Ledger (GL) account
  • Provides support to other functions within General Accounting team including bank reconciliation, month-end close, etc.
  • Liaises with various business lines and provides guidance related to company internal control process

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants or Certified Public Accountant (ACCA, CPA, MICPA, others)
  • Thorough understanding of general accounting tasks and function
  • Strong in statistical and financial analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Experience in banking, accounting, finance, audit or corporate planning
  • Proficiency in SAP application is an added advantage
