Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement Power BI solutions across the full SDLC.
- Build and maintain ETL processes, data flows, dashboards, and reports.
- Apply advanced-level DAX calculations and data modeling techniques.
- Implement row-level security and manage application security layers in Power BI.
- Collaborate with Finance to understand requirements and develop tailored reporting solutions.
- Support financial systems for budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, especially during critical month-end cycles.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of functional and technical specifications.
- Ensure code and solution documentation aligns with industry best practices.
- Identify risks and recommend process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI and DAX.
- Proven experience managing Power BI project lifecycles.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting concepts.
- Familiarity with SAP applications is a plus.
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., IBM TM1 Cognos) is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to document both financial and technical designs effectively.
- Willingness to be on-call for application support outside office hours.
