Sales Planning Analyst role is to support the retail and commercial business through performance tracking, demand forecast and analysis. The role focuses on optimizing sales margins, supporting volume and earning performance across retail network. The analyst will work closely with sales, supply, distribution and finance to deliver data driven insights aligned with operational realities.

Responsibilities:

  • Track sales, margin and volume performance; prepare regular performance reports and variance analysis.
  • Support the business strategies, including setting target based on market conditions, cost movements and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and manage business demand forecasts by product and terminal to support supply planning.
  • Monitor actual sales versus forecast and recommend corrective actions to minimize supply or margin risks.
  • Conduct market, competitor and site level performance analysis to identify volume recovery and margin optimization opportunities.
  • Support volume bridging, sales economics analysis in collaboration with various departments.
  • Participate in cross-functional alignments to align sales, pricing and demand plans with various departments (Sales, Supply, Distribution) capabilities.
  • Ensure the tactics and strategies comply with internal controls, governance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Business preferable with CGPA minimum 3.50 or equivalent.
  • Minimum 0-3 years' experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong analytical and Excal modelling skills as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills presentation skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
