Job Description

We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator & Production Coordinator who is fluent in Mandarin and English to support our fast-growing content and marketing team.

This role is focused on creating engaging, conversion-driven content for XiaoHongShu, Instagram, and TikTok - especially for lifestyle brands.

This is not a purely desk-based editing role. A big part of the role happens on the ground: planning content concepts, attending recces, filming on-site, coordinating shoots, and turning real experiences into strong short-form content.

Most importantly, this role is designed to own day-to-day content production execution (planning support, filming, editing, and coordination), so the marketing team can focus more on client acquisition, partnerships, and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute content for XiaoHongShu, Instagram, and TikTok
   
• Support content planning with ideas, concepts, hooks, and platform-relevant formats
   
• Attend recces and on-site shoots (hotels/resorts/lifestyle locations)
   
• Film short-form content (UGC-style, lifestyle, property tours, experience-based videos)
   
• Edit videos into platform-ready content with subtitles, pacing, and strong storytelling
   
• Write captions and on-screen copy in Mandarin and English, aligned with content goals and platform style
   
• Translate content direction into platform-ready captions, hooks, and on-screen text (Mandarin & English)
   
• Coordinate shoot flow and content capture on-site with team members and clients
   
• Prepare shot lists and assist with production planning before shoot days
   
• Organise footage, folders, and deliverables for smooth handover and posting workflow
   
• Track content production progress and support deadline management
   
• Contribute trend ideas and content improvements based on platform performance
   
• Support content creation for events, campaigns, and brand activations when needed

Job Requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written)
  (Malay is a bonus)
   
• Comfortable with travelling for work, on-site filming, and occasional overnight stays
   
• Strong interest in social media content creation (XHS / IG / TikTok)
   
• Basic to intermediate experience in short-form video editing
   
• Comfortable filming using smartphone (camera skills are a bonus); familiarity with DJI devices / gimbal shooting is a strong advantage
   
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt during shoot days
   
• Responsible, proactive, and able to follow through on tasks with minimal supervision
   
• Good team player with strong communication and coordination skills
   
• Organised in handling files, deliverables, and production timelines
   
• Willing to learn and grow into a multi-functional role (filming / editing / planning / coordination / client-facing)
   

Preferred / Bonus

• Experience creating content for hospitality, travel, lifestyle, fashion, or F&B
   
• Familiar with XiaoHongShu content style, trends, and audience behaviour
   
• Comfortable appearing on camera / hosting videos
   
• Experience with CapCut / VN / Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar tools)
   
• Basic Canva skills (story assets, simple covers, thumbnails)
   
• Portfolio / sample work (TikTok, IG, XHS, or video folder)
