Pixelmites Digital is a performance marketing agency focusing on content, branding, and performance marketing. They are seeking a Social Media Management Intern to assist in managing and growing clients' social media presence across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Xiaohongshu) during a 3–6 month internship in Kuala Lumpur.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Xiaohongshu (RED)
• Schedule and publish content using social media management tools
• Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement
• Research trending topics, hashtags, and content ideas
• Help create monthly content calendars and campaign plans
• Coordinate with designers, content writers, and video creators to ensure timely content delivery
• Track social media performance and prepare monthly reports
• Assist in brainstorming creative campaign ideas to increase engagement and brand awareness
• Stay updated with platform updates, trends, and best practices

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, Business, or a related field
• Active on social media with an understanding of platform trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Creative mindset and enjoys generating new content ideas
• Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bonus / Additional Skills:

• Experience managing social media pages for a brand, club, or personal account
• Familiarity with Canva or basic graphic design tools
• Basic video editing skills using CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro
• Understanding of social media analytics and reporting
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia in addition to English
