Job Description

 Logistics Operations & Shipment Management

  • Manage overseas shipment processes, including documentation, permits, licenses, and customs compliance.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and relevant authorities to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Calculate and monitor shipment costs to optimize efficiency and reduce delays.

Logistics & Supply Chain Planning

  • Plan and manage logistics networks to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Oversee transportation management, including vehicle scheduling, routing, and utilization.
  • Manage inventory levels, materials handling, packaging, assembly, and order fulfillment.
  • Work closely with suppliers and third-party vendors to ensure service quality and compliance with company standards.

Quality & Compliance

  • Conduct periodic workplace inspections at all sites and follow up on corrective actions until closure.
  • Ensure all corrective actions raised during audits, incidents, or quality events are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Take immediate corrective measures when quality events occur, analyze trends, determine root causes, and implement preventive actions to avoid recurrence.

Training & Development

  • Conduct onboarding training for new employees and refresher training for existing employees on logistics and compliance processes.
  • Share best practices and provide guidance to enhance operational excellence.

Cost Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Continuously review logistics operations to reduce delivery delays and lower overall costs.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction

Job Requirements

 

  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of overseas shipment procedures, freight forwarding, customs, and permit/license requirements.
  • Proficiency in logistics planning, transport management, and vendor management.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
