Love short-form video and playful learning? Consider working with us at PlayHub Maths Boardgame Academy, Malaysia's first maths boardgame academy that develops children's thinking through strategic board games and hands-on learning.

As our Social Media Content Intern you will build a steady stream of on-brand content that turns classroom moments into bite-sized videos, photo stories and simple graphics. Your output will help scale our presence on Facebook, Instagram and xhs while keeping PlayHub's voice warm and educational.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Content Production

• Create short-form videos, photo stories, and simple graphics that turn classroom moments into bite-sized, on-brand posts for Facebook, Instagram, and xhs.
• Maintain a warm, educational voice that reflects our learning-first approach while keeping assets polished and publish-ready.

Editing & Tools

• Shoot and edit footage, write clear captions, and assemble campaign assets using Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Apply AI-assisted ideation to accelerate concepting and produce consistent content under hands-on mentorship.

Performance & Collaboration

• Track engagement, test formats, and iterate on ideas to grow our community and improve reach.
• Coordinate with educators, designers, and the marketing team to align content with classroom goals and campaign needs.
• Grow a polished portfolio of published short-form videos and campaign work through regular production.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• You are currently pursuing or recently graduated in Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Creative Media, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• You can work on-site in Kota Damansara and commit to Sunday - Thursday, five days per week.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• You are passionate about social media and content creation, with an interest in photography or video editing.
• You are familiar with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative software.
• You are keen to learn and use AI tools to support ideation and production.
• Bonus: experience creating Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, or other short-form content, and basic photography or videography skills.
• Have a portfolio, personal social account, or creative projects ready to showcase your work.

• You are creative, responsible, proactive, and detail-oriented in daily tasks.
• You communicate clearly and collaborate well with educators and teammates.
