Job Description

We are looking for a Creative Media Intern to gain comprehensive, hands-on experience by assisting with the entire photo and video production workflow. This role offers direct exposure to both our in-house marketing needs and real client projects, ensuring a diverse portfolio build. You'll be actively involved from the initial ideation and conceptualization phase through to execution, meaning you will regularly support on-site media capture. Crucially, you will also receive valuable experience in post-production editing for both photo and video, providing an essential end-to-end understanding of how raw media is transformed into professional, client-ready visual content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the entire photo and video production process by assisting with on-site media capture for both internal and client projects.
  • Gain hands-on experience in post-production by assisting with photo editing and video editing to produce dynamic, high-quality visual content.
  • Design and create eye-catching social media graphics (including posts, banners, and ads) that effectively convey brand messages and engage the target audience.
  • Source, adapt, and manipulate high-quality images and videos, ensuring visual optimization for various platform formats and viewing environments (mobile/desktop).
  • Participate actively in ideation and conceptualization sessions to contribute innovative ideas for visual content and social media presence.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Team to ensure all content is visually appealing, on-brand, and supports a cohesive brand identity across channels.
  • Assist with content planning and scheduling to ensure the timely and relevant delivery of visuals for campaigns and promotions.
  • Stay current with design and video editing trends and social media best practices to continually enhance content creation.
  • Support the team by occasionally assisting with communication or follow-up regarding client content requirements and direction.
  • Contribute to the team's learning cycle by assisting with monitoring and analysis of visual content performance to inform future design strategies.

Job Requirements

  • Basic skills in photography, videography, graphic design, photo editing, and video editing are required; proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a strong advantage.
  • Open to candidates with no prior experience; hands-on experience in social media management (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu/Rednote) is a significant advantage.
  • Minimum SPM certification; current enrollment or background in Arts, Creative, Graphics Design, or Media is a plus.
  • High creativity, keen eye for design, strong communication and collaborative skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure while meeting deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel outstation and overseas (e.g., Singapore) is preferred.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin; proficiency in Malay is a bonus.
  • Commitment to an internship period of three months or longer is preferred.
