Job Description

PLTPRO Data Centre Sdn Bhd, located in Cyberjaya, Selangor, is open for a minimum 6-month internship program.

During this internship, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and take on the following responsibilities: 

• Assist in day-to-day operational matters and functions of the SNOC (Security Network Operation Centre) 
• Assist in performing L1 troubleshooting during service/network outages
• Assist in escalating issues to proper channels (e.g. Technical Specialist/Technical Manager or Product Manufacturers)
• Assist to handle helpdesk tickets and customer complaints/issues
• Assist to provide remote hand support for customer upon request
• Assist to coordinate with service providers for any network or data centre fault
• Assist in maintenance, off-duty support and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
• Assist Technical Specialist/Senior Engineer/Network Management personnel to ensure effective administration of all installed systems
• Assist in maintaining a comprehensive documentation associated with the installed systems align with the company ISO compliances

Job Requirements

• At least a Diploma or higher in Computer / IT studies related field 
• A 1-2 years of study and experience in IT industry, Computer Systems (Windows & Linux), Networks & OSes 
• Knowledge and certification in CCNA will be an added advantage 
• Knowledge and certification in Cybersecurity will be an added advantage
• Must be able to commit at least 6 months of internship
