Job Description

You will be an essential part of the Marketing team, focusing on the production of original video content from concept to final delivery. This is a hands-on opportunity to build your portfolio and gain experience creating video that drives sales and brand engagement in the fast-paced world of digital fashion retail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Video Production & Shooting (50%):
    • Plan, shoot, and direct short-form video content specifically for social media (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) and digital ads.
    • Capture high-quality B-roll footage of apparel, lifestyle shots, and behind-the-scenes content that aligns with the KIMJAYA brand aesthetic.
    • Manage and set up video equipment, lighting, and sound for internal shoots (e.g., product showcases, try-ons, and testimonial videos).
    • Assist the creative team during larger, professional campaign shoots.

  • Video Editing & Post-Production (40%):
    • Edit raw footage into polished, engaging video assets for various platforms, ensuring they meet specific platform requirements (aspect ratio, duration, file size).
    • Implement motion graphics, text overlays, color grading, and compelling music/sound design to maximize viewer retention.
    • Incorporate and optimize product detail overlays for e-commerce videos and ad creatives.

  • Content Strategy & Support (10%):
    • Research current video trends, viral formats, and successful content strategies within the apparel and e-commerce space.
    • Organize and manage the company's video library and media assets.
    • Collaborate with the Graphic Design Intern and Marketing team to ensure visual and narrative consistency across all content.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Film, Cinematography, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro is required).
  • Experience with professional or prosumer video equipment (cameras, lighting, microphones) and the ability to operate independently on small-scale shoots.
  • A strong portfolio or reel showcasing short-form, dynamic video work, ideally including lifestyle or product-focused content.
  • Understanding of effective storytelling, pacing, and visual composition for a digital audience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple video projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • A keen interest in fashion, apparel, and digital trends.
