Job Description

We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to lead the finance function, provide strategic financial insights, and oversee reporting, budgeting, compliance, cash flow, and a five-member team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decisions. 
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis and business performance review.
• Prepare timely monthly management reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. 
• Review financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting standards. 
• Manage corporate tax matters and ensure compliance with statutory, financial reporting, and tax requirements. 
• Oversee AP, AR, cash flow planning, and working capital management.      
• Maintain and improve accounting systems and finance processes to support business growth. 
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, insurance providers, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies. 
• Lead, coach, and develop a finance team of five staff members. 

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification required; Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum 5–10 years of finance and accounting experience, including managerial or supervisory responsibilities. 
• Strong knowledge of corporate taxation and financial reporting. 
• Experience with SQL Accounting software is an added advantage. 
• Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and take ownership of finance deliverables. 
• Strong leadership, integrity, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
• Able to liaise effectively with bankers, auditors, tax agents, legal advisors, and other external parties. 
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, with Mandarin proficiency preferred.
• Willing and able to travel outstation when business needs arise.
