Job Description

Specialist, IT Project 

Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd | GSC HQ Damansara Jaya

Job Summary:

  • Meet with stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, prepare Functional Requirements Specification.
  • DEnhance current operation processes, resolve issue faced by users and automation of manual tasks.
  • DWork closely with internal development team leader and third-party vendors, to ensure product developed meet expectations.
  • Develop detailed project plan, to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the projects during development.
  • Manage the execution of SIT and UAT for the applications developed.
  • Ensure support and customer service personnel are trained/briefed of the operational changes due to the application developed.
  • Report and escalate to Manager, Project Manager Office.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in project management, OR
  • 4 years’ experience in Software Development Life Cycle, as Programmer/System Analyst/Business Analyst.
  • Experience in Mobile App development life cycle and related technologies.
  • Proven working experience in project management.
  • Solid organizational skills, involving reporting to top management, setting up working and steering committee for complex project.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in conducting the various testing (Unit test, SIT, UAT, Staging) involved during software development.
  • Experience in Incident Management and Change Management.
  • Experience in handling software and operational support.
  • Knowledge in Retail/Ticketing/Payment Gateway industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge in data analytics Power BI or Tableau, will be an added advantage.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

 

Technical skillset:

Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of the following technologies:SQL (Mandatory)
  • Web Service API, AppStore/PlayStore Administration
  • MS SQL Server, T-SQL and Stored Procedure

WHAT IS THE PLUS POINT (S)

  • AWS Cloud.
  • Google Analytics, Firebase, Pixel, Flutter
  • Data Analytic exposure: Tableau, Power BI will be added advantage
  • Customer Loyalty Program, CRM, Membership.
