As the Builder, you will create and scale practical quality checks and testing routines that keep production consistent and deliver reliable precast panels and beams. You will work hands-on with production and engineering to turn test results into clearer, faster improvements.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Quality Control & Testing

• Plan and perform concrete sampling and standard tests such as compressive strength, slump, and air content, then record and interpret results.
• Inspect finished precast elements for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and reinforcement placement, and raise non-conformance reports when needed.

Process Improvement & Documentation

• Develop and maintain QC checklists, standard operating procedures, and test records to meet internal and external quality requirements.
• Analyze test data to spot trends and suggest practical process changes that reduce defects and rework.

Production Support & Safety

• Work closely with production teams to advise on mix designs, curing regimes, and handling to meet quality targets.
• Support site acceptance inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during handling and transport.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor in Civil Engineering, Construction, Materials Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on QAQC experience in precast concrete, concrete testing, or manufacturing quality assurance.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Practical knowledge of concrete testing methods, sampling, and interpretation of results against standards.
• Familiarity with Malaysian standards and common construction codes, quality documentation, and basic drawing interpretation.
• Experience preparing reports, NCRs, and using basic quality systems; basic AutoCAD reading is an advantage.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Clear communicator who can explain technical findings to production staff and management.
• Detail oriented, methodical, and comfortable working on the shop floor as well as in the lab.
