Job Description

1. Financial Reporting

• Ensure the accuracy and proper classification of all General Ledger entries to uphold the integrity of financial reporting.
• Lead the monthly and annual closing cycles, ensuring high data quality and meeting all reporting deadlines.

2. General Ledger & Reconciliation

• Guarantee the integrity of the General Ledger by validating the precision of every journal entry and adjustment.
• Direct the reconciliation of bank and intercompany accounts, ensuring precise tracking of suspense items, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
• Manage the end-to-end fixed asset process, ensuring accurate recording of additions, disposals, and precise depreciation accounting.

3. Internal Controls & Audit

• Develop and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure the reliability of financial reporting.

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Audit firm experience is an added advantage.
