Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Tax Administrator to join our team at PRO AMITY CORPORATE SDN BHD. The role involves supporting tax compliance, advisory processes, and statutory reporting for both corporate and individual clients
Key Responsibilities
- Manage tax compliance matters for corporate and individual taxpayers
- Assist in tax advisory services, including audit queries and appeal matters
- Liaise with clients and authorities such as the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) to resolve tax-related issues
- Prepare tax computations and ensure timely statutory submissions
- Handle withholding tax and ensure all payments meet deadlines
- Support tax reporting, forecasting, payment revisions, installment tracking, and refund processes
- Ensure accurate preparation and submission of tax statements with proper documentation
- Review work prepared by junior staff and assist in workflow coordination
- Maintain and update tax databases for accuracy and compliance
- Assist Manager/Director with ad-hoc tasks and assignments
Job Requirements
Education
- Degree in Accountancy
- Professional qualification (ACCA / CPA / CIMA or equivalent) is an added advantage
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant tax experience
- Experience handling tax matters for both individuals and companies
