Job Description

  • Support and managing daily correspondence with overseas logistics agent and partners.
  • Assist in procure Import/Export pricing (Air & Sea) from Shipping Carriers, Operators and Airlines.
  • Assist in preparing and issuing quotations, rate proposals and follow up communication.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Operations and Documentation) to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of information.
  • Track, update and maintain customer & agent database, sales record and inquiry pipelines.
  • Identify potential overseas agents/customers for business development, leveraging logistics network directory and other channels.
  • Follow up with overseas agents/customers to obtain booking confirmations, shipment details and quotation feedback.
  • Monitor shipment progress and ensure prompt updates are shared with overseas agents/customers.
  • Approach and present the company’s services professionally to overseas agents/customers.
  • Notify agents/customers proactively when special rates or space allocations are available.
  • Provide timely updates to overseas agents/customers on market developments, space situations and service availability.
  • Ensure smooth handover of confirmed shipments to the operation team for execution.
  • Make International calls or emails to follow up on leads and enquiries.

Job Requirements

  • Possess at least Diploma/STPM, or A-Level.
  • Fresh graduates are encourage to apply.
  • Experience in logistics industry is an advantage.
  • Good written and spoken in English and Malay.
  • Ability to communicate and read in Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Computer literate is a must.
  • Detail oriented, well organized and able to multitask in a fast paced envinronment.
  • Willing to learn and strong team player.
  • Willing to do telemarketing activities to introduce our services and follow up on leads – this is highly regarded and considered an advantage in this role.
  • Must be able and willing to travel to work in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
